We began as a small group of concerned citizens on March 29, 2014. We work collaboratively with many
non-profit organizations, the Brant County SPCA, and law enforcement officials to find solutions to any cat issues.

Homeless cats could be a lost family pet, abandoned kittens , or kittens born outside with little or no human contact. There are many terms used, such as stray, friendly stray, feral cat, but no cat should be homeless!
Good People are dealing with homeless cats in unacceptable ways because they do not know of other options.
This web site will provide people with options.
FACTS:
-Cats are domestic animals. They do not belong in the wild. They do not build dens to live in.
-Cats are a commitment of 10 to 18 years or more.
-There is no such thing as a "free" kitten. Their vaccinations, spay/neuter will cost much more than a kitten from a Rescue Group or SPCA because the cats are already spayed/neutered, vaccinated, etc..
-Male cat urine loses the strong smell after the cat is neutered. Also, the benefit of this, is that the cat will not be reproducing.
-The people who feed cats do not put out food to attract them. They feed the hungry cats because they are there already and starving.
-We need to stop the flow of these homeless cats by:
* making people aware of the issue
* highlighting the importance of spaying and neutering their family pet to prevent any more cats from being homeless
* people participating in the Spaying and Neutering of existing homeless cats to prevent more homeless kittens from being born
An example of how the numbers can grow so rapidly:
Time 5 months 10 months 15 months
1 cat -------------- 2 to 4 kittens
3 (first cat plus 2 kittens) ------------------- 3 X 2 =6 kittens
9 (3 cats plus 6 kittens) -------------------------------------------------- 9 X 2 = 18 kittens
Conservative numbers would be 9 cats added to the area from each cat that is presently there, but 18 is very probable in 15 months.
Cats reproduce so well because the females release the ova when mating.
Therefore, their pregnancy is guaranteed.
TNR results in ONE Healthy cat instead of 9 to 18 continuing to multiply.
